We work across York and North Yorkshire to generate qualified leads for trusted suppliers, giving you the chance to grow your business and compete for projects that match your expertise.

Our marketplace covers everything from single-measure upgrades like insulation or solar PV, to whole-house retrofits managed by Principal Contractors. Every project begins with an engaged, pre-qualified customer who has already met with a YorEnergy adviser, received a home assessment, and explored finance and grant options, ensuring they are ready for the next steps allowing you to spend less time chasing work, and more time delivering it.

The opportunities span individual homes, groups of properties, commercial buildings, social housing portfolios, and whole community retrofit schemes. This means your business can benefit from a diverse pipeline of work, from single domestic upgrades to large-scale, multi-site projects.

How Our Tender Process Works

The process is easy and works as follows:
 

  1. We invite you tender
    When a customer confirms that they want to move ahead, we publish the opportunity through our Supplier Marketplace Tender Portal.
     

  2. You review the opportunity
    You can look at the property details and the project requirements before deciding whether to submit an application.
     

  3. You submit your application
    You outline your approach, relevant experience and the pricing for your service.
     

  4. Project delivery
    If selected, you will work closely with YorEnergy. We handle the project administration up to the installation stage, and once installation begins you become the main point of contact for the customer.

At the end of the process, once the customer is satisfied and the installation is signed off, we request a small referral fee. Our role is to support you in delivering high quality installations for residents across the region.

How to Apply

​Joining the YorEnergy Supplier Marketplace is straightforward:
 

  1. Complete our online Supplier Application Form.
     

  2. Provide your qualifications, insurance documents and examples of your retrofit work.
     

  3. Our team reviews your application within 10 working days.
     

  4. If approved, you will be asked to sign our supplier agreement to activate your membership.
     

Once you have completed these steps, you can start connecting with motivated customers across York and North Yorkshire.
