YorEnergy is proud to present our Demonstrator Homes, showcasing the latest retrofit technologies that are transforming York’s housing market. These homes provide a first-hand look at how older properties can be upgraded with sustainable solutions, improving comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance.

As a supplier or retrofit professional, you’ll have the chance to explore a fully retrofitted home and see the practical application of innovative technologies. The tour highlights real-world examples of solutions in action, offering insights into quality installation, system integration, and emerging trends in the retrofit sector.

Delivered in partnership by City of York Council, York Community Energy, and Wrapt Homes, the Demonstrator Homes show how typical York properties can be upgraded for greater comfort, energy efficiency, and durability.

The first home open for tours is a Victorian terrace on Vine Street in the South Bank area of York, with tours hosted by Wrapt Homes, where you can see these improvements in action and discuss implementation best practices with the project team.
