A Warm Welcome in York
Held in the city centre, at the Priory Street Centre, our launch event was designed to bring people together in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoyed coffee, comforting tea, and delicious biscuits while engaging in meaningful conversations about YorEnergy’s mission and how it might help them.

One of the event’s highlights was the opportunity to speak directly with our advisers and qualified retrofit coordinators. Visitors learned about YorEnergy’s commitment to simplifying the energy-efficiency journey for homeowners, ensuring everyone feels supported from start to finish.
Collaboration and Community
We were proud that many of the YorEnergy partners were in attendance, including the City of York Council, York Community Energy (YCE), the University of York, and Brightsparks Agency. These organisations play a vital role in driving York’s journey toward net-zero emissions.
Adding to the day’s energy were our Community Energy Champions. These passionate individuals shared their experiences and expertise, demonstrating how small steps can make a big impact in reducing carbon footprints and making homes more comfortable. Free Home Assessments
Another major milestone from the event was signing people up for free home energy assessments. These assessments are the first step in identifying how YorEnergy can help improve energy efficiency and reduce costs for households across York.
