Free home assessment at your fingertips with York Community Energy
Take a tour around an energy-efficient home, ask questions about the solutions installed and book your free home assessment. These tours will be led by our expert home assessment provider, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about it.
The Demo Homes are provided by The City of York Council, one of the founding members of the YorEnergy Partnership. Following the showcase events, the homes will be used to home council tenants who can benefit from the increased energy efficiency and comfort.
Vine street demo home
Vine Street is a Victorian terrace with an air source heat pump, internal insulation with natural materials, solar panels and solar battery storage system and MVHR ventilation system and floor insulation.
The tours will last a maximum of 1 hour and will follow this agenda:
